POSITION: Marketing Assistant

 

LOCATION: Nunnery Depot, Sheffield

 

REPORTS TO: Commercial Manager, Head of Finance & Commercial       

 

DURATION OF ROLE: Full time permanent position from June 2017

 

HOURS OF DUTY: 37 hours per week, although flexibility needed to cover events etc.

 

SAFETY STATUS: Non Safety Critical

 

An opportunity has arisen for a Marketing Assistant to join our Commercial and Marketing team at Stagecoach Supertram in Sheffield. You will be responsible for assisting the Commercial Manager in the production and delivery of the Commercial and Marketing plans, production and distribution of promotional and marketing materials and the timely delivery of promotional campaigns.  A key part of the role will be to work closely with the Commercial Manager in developing a marketing strategy to promote the business and attract new customers.

You will be responsible for marketing Supertram through the use of Social Media.

You will also assist the Commercial Manager in managing the production of artwork, radio adverts and printing through external agencies.

The successful individual must also be comfortable representing Supertram at Stakeholder groups and promotional events such as Fresher’s fairs

Experience required

  • Qualifications and experience of Marketing and Advertising.
  • A highly numerate individual with proven IT software ability MS Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Attention to detail and time management skills essential.
  • A self-motivated, positive and determined person who works well within a team environment. 
  • Thorough understanding of the methods and media available to market and advertise businesses including email and social media.

POSITION: Tram Conductors - Full Time

 

LOCATION: Nunnery Depot, Sheffield

 

DEPARTMENT: Customer Service

 

SAFETY STATUS: Non Safety Critical

 

We currently have a new opportunity for Conductors within our Customer Service Department.

 

We are looking for people with a professional approach who would take pride in providing an outstanding service for our customers. Flexibility and reliability are essential attributes. Our Conductors provide knowledge of ticket requirements including online ticketing solutions, local information and tram routes to our customers.

 

You can expect many different challenges in the role, and it’s not just about collecting revenue. At Supertram we are committed to Safety and delivering outstanding Customer Service at all times. You should have a proactive approach to helping manage any disruption. Your communication skills will play a vital part as a Conductor where you will be expected to keep our passengers informed at all times.

Hours:

Because we provide a transport service to the public, it's not a 9-5 job. The working week averages 37.5 hours.

 

Requirements for the Role:

 

  • A previous customer service role is essential
  • Be willing to work irregular and unsociable shift patterns
  • Meet the necessary medical requirements of the role
  • Ensure that a professional image of the company is demonstrated at all times
  • Adhere to compliance requirements in all areas of operational activity, company policies and procedures
  • Manage conflict situations that may arise while on duty on tram
  • Maintain a level of cash control in line with company policy
  • Communicate effectively and in a friendly manner with both customers and staff
  • Have a commitment to delivering great Customer Service

LOCATION: Nunnery Depot, Sheffield

 

DEPARTMENT: Customer Service

 

SAFETY STATUS: Safety Critical

 

We currently have a new opportunity for Tram Drivers within the Customer Service Department. This is a safety critical role which could involve dealing with pressurised and emergency situations requiring a high level of responsibility. It is a highly-disciplined job with strict rules and regulations.

 

We are looking for people with a professional approach who would take pride in providing an outstanding service for our customers. Flexibility and reliability are essential attributes. Concentration, decision-making and the ability to follow rules and procedures have to be your key strengths.

 

You can expect many different challenges in the role, and it’s not just about driving trams. At Supertram we are committed to Safety and outstanding Customer Service at all times. You should have a proactive approach to managing disruption and emergency situations should they arise. Your communication skills will play a vital part as a tram driver, where you will be expected to make PA announcements to keep our passengers informed at all times.
