Supertram's efforts were rewarded in the Team of the Year category receiving a "Highly Commended" in recognition of the high quality of service delivery.

Metrolink's Mike Mabey and George Barrow were recognised for their outstanding contribution to the company and both received a Highly Commended in the Employee of the Year Category.

Mike was also called upon to receive the runner up award for the Best Customer Initiative for Stagecoach Metrolink's ground breaking Accredited TSO project.

Crowning Metrolink's success was the awarding of the top prize in the Most Significant Safety Initiative category for the achievement of the Safe Station accreditation which was collected by Carla Taylor and Kerry Jones (GMPTE).

Each of these represent solid industry recognition of the good work both our light rail businesses are doing and is a testimony to the dedication and hard work of our staff.
