Why sit in city centre traffic when you can Park & Ride from just £3.90 per day!

 

To take up this special offer, simply buy a P&R ticket from the machine at the site then show it to the conductor on the tram.

Keep this P&R ticket as it is then used to operate the barrier when you leave the site.

 

Where can I park?

 

 

Nunnery Square P&R

Situated off the A57 Parkway

 (The main route into Sheffield from junction 33 of the M1)

Only 6 minutes from the heart of Sheffield city centre and trams from every 10 minutes

Postcode S2 5BD

Leave the M1 at Junction 33 following the Sheffield City Centre signs along the dual carriageway A630/A57/A61 Parkway for approximately 5 miles. The Park and Ride is signed for the last four miles.

Follow the signs for 'Lower Don Valley A6109' and park and ride, ensuring you are in the outer lanes.

Turn right at the lights and then follow the park and ride signs back onto the opposite carriageway of the Parkway, and then turn left into the park and ride.

The £3.90 P&R price includes a Day tram ticket for the driver (which offers unlimited tram travel for one day). Additional tickets can be purchased on the tram for passengers. The site is open 24 hours, Day Park & Ride tickets are valid until 23.59hrs. There are 390 parking spaces with availability usually throughout the day.

Middlewood P&R

Ideal for commuters from the west of Sheffield, only 13 minutes from the University of Sheffield and 20 minutes from the heart of the city centre

Postcode S6 1TQ

From Manchester and the west use the Middlewood Park and Ride. From the A628 Woodhead Pass, turn onto the A616, following signs for Sheffield.

Approximately 6 miles after turning onto the A616 take the turning for A6102 Oughtibridge.

The route then continues for just over a further 5 miles along the A6102, following signs for Oughtibridge, Sheffield and then Hillsborough.

The Park and Ride is signed for the last mile.

Super value longer term weekly and 4 weekly P&R tickets are also available from the on site ticket machine –

Weekly £15.60 – Only £2.23 per day

 

Monthly £52.50 – Only £1.88 per day

 

Promotional P&R tickets only available at the Nunnery Square and Middlewood sites between Sunday the 16th of September and Saturday the 13th of October 2012 .

Park & Ride ticket includes one persons unlimited tram only travel.

P&R tickets are tram only and are not valid on any other form of transport.

Other passengers will be required to purchase the appropriate tram ticket from the on tram conductor to travel.

Offer Not available at the Halfway P&R site.

Park Only Tickets available for holders of a valid English National Concessionary Travel Scheme pass and must be purchased to operate the barrier on exit.

Senior passes only valid for travel on the tram after 9am Monday - Friday
