| What is Unirider Unirider is a heavily discounted, term travel ticket that gives students of the University of Sheffield or the Sheffield Hallam University, unlimited travel on any Stagecoach tram or bus in Sheffield*. The ticket is only available for sale online. Unirider prices for students attending Sheffield University or Sheffield Hallam University are as follows for the 2012/2013 academic year. Annual ticket £260 -- 15 September 2012 - 08 June 2013 1st term £104 - 15 Sep 2012 -21 Dec 2012 2nd term £86 - 05 Jan 2013 - 22 Mar 2013 3rd term £72 - 06 May 2013 - 08 Jun 2013 Summer £137 - 01 Jun 2013 - 30 Sep 2013
If you don't use the tram or only make the occasional journey then why not travel by Stagecoach Sheffield buses it's only £0.80p for any single journey with your student id card. (Not available on Supertram or SupertramLink buses for through travel)

The card must be valid and bear a photograph of the holder. Valid at all times between the dates shown on the ticket. Unirider cannot be transferred. Unirider holders travel subject to the terms and conditions of carriage and passenger regulations of Stagecoach Yorkshire and Stagecoach Supertram. The ticket remains the property of the operator and will be withdrawn at any time if misused. Unirider is not valid on Megabus or other operators' services. Unirider is valid for travel on the entire route on services: 20, 20A, 25, 35A, 52, 58, 78, 79, 83, 87, 88, 88A, 120, 123, 293, Supertram Link buses and all Supertram services.
